Lori Hinrichsen, Administrative Assistant

Lori grew up in Iowa in a family of 13 kids. She went to the University of Kansas, Lawrence, and graduated with a degree in Theatre, Film and Video. Elissa Johnk , Senior Pastor
Elissa graduated summa cum laude from Wellesley College, and earned her Masters of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School, where she received a presidential scholarship, an award for Excellence in Liturgical Reading of Scripture, and was a Billings Preaching Prize finalist. She most recently served as the Pastoral Resident at the Wellesley Congregational Church UCC, through a two-year grant from the Lilly Endowment's Transition into Ministry Program. Previously Elissa held a ministerial internship at the Old South Church in Boston. She has also served as a chaplain intern, worked with Habitat for Humanity, and as a Fulbright ambassador in Korea. Elissa is originally from Iowa, and has family in Vermont.

Mary Colleen Sinnott , Director of Congregational Care Ministries
Mary Colleen comes with a diverse background of education and work, which has been woven together with the common thread of being in a supportive relationship with people. She has worked as a special education teacher at numerous schools, and served as a spiritual director at upper New York state retreat centers. Serving as a campus minister at Cortlan State College in NY, she engaged students in ways that sparked their spirituality and helped them find themselves. She has extensive work with elderly populations through her work as a massage therapist and pastoral counselor. She has volunteered with Hospice and currently helps run the memory café at the Senior Center in Montpelier.

Mary Colleen holds degrees from Loyola University and St. Bernard's Seminary, and completed her clinical pastoral education at Havenwood Heritage, a continuum care facility in Concord, NH. She continues to study and deepen her knowledge each day. She is a recent transplant to Vermont from upstate New York. She has 3 grown children, in Boston, Hawaii and Philadelphia, as well as 2 grandchildren, Sophie and Sammy, who she visits as often as possible.

To contact her, email MCSinnott@oldmeetinghouse.org. You may also reach her by calling the church (802) 229-9593 at extension 1.
